PinnacleLife ("PinnacleLife", "we", "us") is an independent editorial publication covering longevity, metabolic health, regenerative medicine, and human performance. We are built to be reader-first, and that extends to how we handle your data: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and we avoid third-party advertising trackers entirely. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We do not sell or rent your personal information — ever.
- We use no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Our analytics are first-party and cookieless, and report only aggregate trends.
- The only personal detail we ask for is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.
- You can unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your data, at any time.
Information we collect
Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to The Pinnacle Brief, we collect the email address you provide. We use double opt-in confirmation to verify that the address is yours. We use your email solely to send the newsletter you requested and occasional service messages about it. We never sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers or data brokers. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
Analytics
We measure how our journalism performs using a first-party, privacy-preserving analytics system that we operate ourselves. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build advertising profiles. Where one visit needs to be distinguished from another, it is done with a short-lived, irreversible hash rather than a stored IP address. What we keep is aggregate — for example, how many people read a given article — not individual profiles.
Technical and security data
Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure and our content-delivery and security provider (which proxies our traffic) automatically process limited technical information — such as IP address, browser type, and request time — to deliver pages, defend against abuse, and keep the Site secure. This information is used for operational and security purposes and is retained only as long as needed for them.
When you contact us
If you email us or use our contact form, we receive the information you choose to send — such as your name, email address, and message — so that we can respond.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We may set strictly necessary cookies — for example, to process a form submission securely or to maintain a session when one is required. These are essential to the operation of the Site and are not used to profile you.
How we use information
- To deliver the newsletter you subscribed to;
- To operate, secure, and improve the website;
- To understand, in aggregate, which articles and topics are useful to readers;
- To respond to your questions and requests.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run the publication — for example, our hosting and our content-delivery and security providers — and only to the extent they need it to provide those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your newsletter email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Aggregate analytics are kept only for a limited period and then discarded. Technical and security logs are retained on a short, rolling basis.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To exercise any other right, please contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
PinnacleLife is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International readers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your information remains protected in line with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected here.
